At the southern end of Lyon’s Presqu’\u00eele, where the Rh\u00f4ne and Sa\u00f4ne rivers meet, stands the Mus\u00e9e des Confluences, an emblematic building that combines architectural boldness and cultural richness. Opened in 2014, this museum has become a must-see for science, history and art lovers.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<\/section>\n\n\t\n\n

Designed by Austrian architects Coop Himmelb(l)au, the building’s impressive glass-and-steel structure evokes a cloud suspended above a concrete base. This bold design symbolizes the meeting of knowledge and cultures, in the image of the confluence of Lyon’s two rivers. The interior, bathed in natural light, offers a fluid pathway between the various exhibits.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
